Christ is Risen. Alleluia.
Three years.
Three years ago, I remember sitting with a mix of excitement, nervousness, and deep uncertainty as we launched the
Cycles and Sanctity podcast. I didn’t know who would listen. I didn’t know where the Lord would take it. I just knew—deep in my heart—that this was something He was asking me to do. Then He called Mama Vicki to join me.
And now here we are.
This past month alone, we reached 1.3K downloads in a single month. I still remember celebrating our first 1,000 downloads like it was yesterday.
That’s the power of reflection.
Because if I didn’t stop and reflect, I might miss what God has actually done.
And that is exactly what this Easter season—and this year’s Triduum—has reminded me of.
Why Reflection Is a Skill Every Catholic Woman Needs
As a Catholic Womanhood Coach, one of the most important skills I both practice and teach is reflection.
Reflection is not passive.
It is intentional.
It is a discipline.
And it is deeply spiritual.
Because when you reflect, you begin to see what you could not see before.
You begin to notice:
Without reflection, you will always feel like you are “not there yet.”
With reflection, you realize:
God has been moving the whole time.
The Easter Triduum: An Invitation to Reflect on Love and Mercy
This year, walking through the Easter Triduum—Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil—felt different.
It should feel different.
Because we are different.
As we shared on the podcast, every year the Triduum invites us into a deeper encounter with Christ’s love and sacrifice .
There is something about sitting in those liturgies, listening to the readings, watching the rituals unfold, that forces you to slow down and pay attention.
To reflect.
To remember.
To enter in.
I found myself once again overwhelmed by the reality of the Passion.
The suffering.
The sacrifice.
The love.
Because if you truly allow yourself to reflect on what Christ endured—the cross, the crown of thorns, His final breath—it changes you.
It has to.
As we said in the episode, if that doesn’t move your heart, it’s worth asking why .
Growth Looks Different Than You Expect
One of the most beautiful parts of this year’s Triduum was hearing Mama Vicki reflect on her experience.
She talked about how, in past seasons of life—especially when her children were little—getting to Mass felt overwhelming, chaotic, and even stressful.
And now?
Now she can sit.
Pray.
Receive.
Reflect.
And instead of frustration, there is gratitude.
That’s growth.
But here’s the key:
She only sees that growth because she took time to reflect on it.
How many times do we miss what God has done in our lives because we are too busy moving to the next thing?
Reflection allows you to cherish the experience.
To hold onto the memory.
To say, “Look what God has done.”
From “We Have To” to “We Get To”
Another powerful shift that came up in our conversation was this:
Moving from
“We have to go to Mass”
to
“We get to go to Mass.”
That shift changes everything.
It changes your posture.
Your attitude.
Your interior life.
And it’s only possible when you step back and reflect on the truth:
This is not obligation.
This is relationship.
This is love.
The Reality of Unholy Self-Reliance
One of the deeper reflections that came out of this Triduum was the recognition of something many Catholic women struggle with:
Unholy self-reliance.
We think:
“I need to figure this out.”
“I need to control this.”
“I need to make this work.”
But the Triduum reminds us of a different reality.
The apostles thought everything was over.
Their expectations were shattered.
Their plans fell apart.
And yet—God was doing something far greater than they could see.
Just like in our own lives.
We create these small, controlled paths.
And God says:
“I have something much bigger for you.”
Reflection allows you to step back and ask:
Where am I relying on myself instead of trusting God?
The Gift of the Easter Season: 50 Days to Grow
Here’s the good news:
We don’t just get one day of Easter.
We get 50 days.
Fifty days to:
This is not a moment.
It is a season.
And it is meant to be lived intentionally.
So many women rush past Easter like it’s over.
But the Church, in her wisdom, gives us this extended time to stay in the joy.
To continue reflecting.
To continue growing.
Watching Souls Come Home
One of the greatest blessings of this season is witnessing catechumens and candidates come fully into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.
There is nothing quite like it.
To see someone:
Say “yes” to Christ
Enter into the Church
Receive the Sacraments
It is a living testimony of God’s mercy.
And it gives us something powerful to reflect on:
God is still moving.
God is still calling.
God is still transforming lives.
Including yours.
Gratitude for This Community
For every listener.
For every review.
For every message.
For every woman who has allowed us into her life, her thoughts, her struggles, and her journey with God.
This podcast was never about numbers.
It was always about mission.
Mama Vicki and I have a deep desire to serve the next generation of women—to help them become the saints God created them to be.
To think clearly.
To feel deeply.
To live confidently in truth.
And you are part of that mission.
Looking Ahead: Year Four
As I sit here reflecting on these past three years, I can’t help but wonder:
Where will the Lord take us next?
What will we be reflecting on one year from now?
What growth will we see?
What prayers will be answered?
What lives will be changed?
Because if the last three years have taught me anything, it’s this:
God is faithful.
And when you take the time to reflect, you will see it.
Your Invitation
I want to leave you with this:
Don’t rush past this season.
Take time to reflect.
Ask yourself:
Where has God been working in my life?
What has changed in me this past year?
Where am I being invited to trust Him more?
And if you feel stuck…
If you feel like you can’t see clearly…
If you feel disconnected from your own growth…
This is exactly what I help women do.
Through Catholic coaching, I teach you how to:
Reflect deeply
Understand your thoughts and emotions
Recognize God’s movement in your life
Step into clarity, peace, and confidence
You don’t have to stay stuck.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
The Lord is inviting you into something more.
And I would be honored to walk with you.
Christ is Risen. Alleluia.
